Each year Scholarship America’s Dreams to Success dinner celebrates the connection between students and passionate education supporters. It’s a time to honor students’ stories of need, aspiration and tenacity — stories that demonstrate the unstoppable combination of student determination and scholarship.
We invite everyone who believes in the power of education to join us on May 15 in Washington, DC for the 2019 Dreams to Success celebration!
On the day leading up to Dreams to Success, we will once again be hosting a Scholarship America Partner Summit—a daylong opportunity for scholarship providers, students and alumni to sit down face-to-face and discuss the best ways to deliver what students need when they need it most.
In addition to our student and alumni panel discussions, we'll hear from scholarship and student-support experts at Chick-fil-A, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars.
In this new op-ed from Scholarship America President & CEO Bob Ballard and NSPA Executive Director Jackie Bright (left), we look at how taxing certain types of scholarship aid harms students—and we call on Congress to change the law and ensure private-sector scholarships and grants are treated fairly.
