The Significance of the Awards

The Irving Innovation Awards honor organizations and leaders who are redefining what it means to support students through innovative, impactful scholarship programs.

Named in honor of Dr. Irving Fradkin, the founder of Scholarship America and a pioneer whose vision sparked a nationwide movement to eliminate financial barriers for students, the Irving Innovation Awards continue his legacy by celebrating champions of student success.
