Am I eligible?

You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:

• You served in the United States military, including Reserves and National Guard, and received an honorable discharge. Spouses and widows/widowers of disabled veterans who meet these criteria may also apply.
• You are a high school or GED graduate, current post-secondary undergraduate or graduate level one student.
• You have used any military education benefits for which you are eligible.
• You are enrolled in in full-time undergraduate or graduate study for a first-time associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited two- or four- year college or university or vocational-technical school for the entire academic year.
  
• You attend a college that is not on warning or probationary status with the federal government and not in litigation with the federal or a state government.
  
• You ave a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
• You are facing unexpected financial difficulties which may impact your continued enrollment in your degree program.

What documentation is required?

• Certificate or letter of Eligibility from the Department of Veterans Affairs or DD214 or other document of service stating “Honorable Discharge”
• A current course schedule
• Documentation of an eligible expense
