Higher education looks much different now than it did in 1958 – but Dr. Fradkin’s vision of community support for college is still powerful. To honor that vision and legacy, Scholarship America is proud to offer the Dr. Irving Fradkin Legacy Award program to give outstanding Dollars for Scholars more opportunity to provide impactful scholarships, including renewable awards and additional student support to students with the most need.
To further Dr. Fradkin’s passion for student success, Scholarship America will provide four Dollars for Scholars with the following Dr. Irving Fradkin Legacy Awards annually:
- One $15,000 Student Support Award, to help a Dollars for Scholars initiate and/or expand student supports beyond scholarships
- One $10,000 Renewable Scholarship Award to help a Dollars for Scholars initiate and/or expand a renewable, multi-year scholarship program
- Two $2,500 Impactful Scholarship Awards to help two Dollars for Scholars expand their current scholarship programs to fund impactful awards of $1,000 or more
