Scholarship America is pleased to announce the opening of the 2015 Dollars for Scholars Matching Grant Program!

Now in its second year, the Matching Grant Program is designed to increase the number and impact of renewable scholarship awards offered by Dollars for Scholars affiliates. The program will provide matching (challenge) grants in the amount of $5,000 or $10,000, as well as training, tools and support to select affiliates that wish to start or expand a renewable scholarship fund. By combining national and local fundraising efforts, Scholarship America along with its local Dollars for Scholars organizations can begin to defray the rising costs of postsecondary education and the burden of student debt for students across the country.

Grantees will be selected based on current organizational capacity, as well as clarity and comprehensiveness of future renewable scholarship award plans. The number of grants given will be based on compatibility with grant program qualifications, selection criteria and availability of funds.

Affiliates interested in the program are encouraged to carefully read the program information and review the application located under "Funding & Recognition Opportunities" in the Affiliate Resource Center of ChapterNet.
